What happens if my child has an accident?

Bumps and scrapes happen from time to time and there will always be at least one qualified first aider on site. For minor accidents, an accident form will be completed and discussed with you when you collect your child. We will contact you by phone in the case of a more serious accident or incident.

When booking, we ask that you give us as much information as possible about any medical conditions for your child. Medical information will remain confidential and only referred to by our on-site personnel. If you have any questions or concerns about the suitability of camp for your child, call Marc on 07912 936 361.

If your child requires medication to be administered to them during camp, you will be asked to complete a Medication Consent Form on your child’s first day. This will detail the medication being kept onsite and how often it should be administered.

All medication will be kept in the first aid area of the camp and administered by first aiders at the time shown on the Medical Administration Form.

Yes, we have both public liability and employer’s liability insurance.

Drop off hour (8.30am-9.30am)

We open our doors each morning at 8.30am. Until 9.30am, all children will participate in supervised free play with a number of sporty activities, table games, art and lego available. At 9.30 am we then sit down together, introduce the coaches, go over some important rules and then start organising the children into age groups and activities.

Don’t worry if you arrive after this time. Children will fit immediately into groups whatever time they arrive.

The camp leader and group coaches will have a chat each morning with the children and go over some important rules. During this chat, the children will have an opportunity to discuss what kind of activities they would like to take part in. The coach will have a flexible session plan for each day that can be altered to ensure each day is crammed full of a variety of fun activities that appeals to all of the group.

Following a short warm up, the group will begin their first activity, whether it be a sporty game like cricket, football or dodgeball, a creative arty project, or perhaps a brick building activity such as Lego, Kapla or Knex.

On specific days during each holiday, children will have the opportunity to swim if they wish during the morning. Qualified lifeguards will be present at all times.

Groups will stop for a mid morning snack usually at about 11.00am for 20 minutes.

Following this snack, the group will then begin more activities that will continue until lunch time.

Lunch break will begin at 1.00pm. Children are expected to sit for 30-40 minutes to eat their lunch.

Following this, we then give the children a further period of free play that they love. All children will continue to be supervised throughout this period of free play.

Afternoon activities will begin again at 2.15pm. Children will then get the opportunity to take part in a variety of activities that are different to the morning.

There is limited mixing between age appropriate groups to allow as much of a choice as possible at all times. This allows sporty children to spend more time playing different sports, and those who are more arty will get time to enjoy craft sessions as well during the day.

Our organised activities end at 4.30pm at which time children will then go back into supervised free play until they are collected.

Once more a selection of games, art, lego, table football and other activities will be available for the children to play with.

All parents on arrival should make their way directly to the drop off/collection desk where they will be required to sign out their child(ren).
